Beas Voyage Himachal

The Beas Voyage circuit passes through the highly picturesque Kullu Valley - The Valley of Gods. Flower covered meadows, terraced fields of apples, paddy, maize and sparkling Beas River. Beas voyage has some of the most beautiful and popular places in Himachal i.e. Kullu, Manali and Mandi.

This circuit covers

Delhi - Mandi - Rewalsar - Kullu - Manali - Rohtang Pass - Naggar - Manikaran - Delhi. Total Length = 1,335 km.

Beas Voyage

Beas Voyage with some of the principal show places of Himachal i.e. Kullu, Manali and Mandi provides a complete tourism escape of all kinds. Kullu

also known as, Valley of Gods, has numerous temples. Kullu valley offers a scenic charm of peaceful wooded glades and rivers through the rocks. The Dashehra of Kullu is world famous. The ancient Hindus regarded Kullu as the farthest limit of human habitation, Kulantapitha, and its original name finds mention in the epics, The Ramayana and Mahabharta as well as the Vishnu Purana. Kullu is located on the bank of river Beas.

Manali

with its unspoilt scenic grandeur is extremely popular with the tourists, for a lavish display of natural scenery. It is one of the principal show places of the Kullu region. To its North, South and West are an ostentation of pinnacles and ridges which, in fine weather, stand out in bold relief against skyline. At the lower elevation and in every direction there are vivid green patches of grassland and evergreen valleys ascending in irregular formation present probably the best view in the country.

Mandi

is situated on the banks of the river Beas. It has a rich culture and history represented by its temples which are a major tourists draw. Mandi is an important trading centre situated on the Pathankot-Kullu road. The town is also the gateway to Himachal's most famous valleys - Kullu, Manali, Lahaul and Spiti. The entire Mandi town has a huge sprinkling of temples.

Kangra

is sheltered by the massive Dhauladhar range of mountains, rich in culture and history. Kangra is very famous for its important temples, many of them are Shaktipeeth, i.e. Jwalamukhi temple, Bajeshwari or Bajreshwari temple, Chamuna devi temple, Masroor rock temple.

Dharamsala

stands at the foot of Dhauladhar and has a magnificent view of snowy peaks, deodar and pine forests, tea gardens and beautiful hills. The weather is refreshing almost throughout the year. There are a lot of intersting places to explore around Dharamsala. Dharamsala is one of the main tourist destination of himachal.

Palampur

Shimla

Shimla is the capital town of Himachal Pradesh. The town of Shimla is built over several hills and connecting ridges. A place of peace and pleasure, Shimla is a tourist resort in real sense of the world. Shimla town is spread over the ridge measuring about 12 km. It is perhaps the biggest hill station in the world, located at an altitude of 2,421 meters above sea level. Shimla combines the luxury of being a hill station as well as a city. Solan

Sirmaur

Lahaul Spiti

is an emerging tourist place in Himachal having beautiful landscapes and interesting blend of Buddhism and Hinduism. Tourism in Lahaul Spiti offers a place which seems to be frozen in time. Although spoken as Lahaul Spiti, Lahaul and Spity are actually two valleys which are completely different from each other in almost everything. Kinnaur

is a tribal area of Himachal Pradesh in true style.
